Breast Cancer: To reduce the risk of 'breast cancer', these 5 yoga asanas are amazing, know how to do

Breast cancer is one of the three most common types of cancer in the world.
According to reports published through the World Health Organization, there are approximately 1.38 million cases of cancer every year. In India alone, one in every 20 urban women is diagnosed with breast cancer and a diagnosis is confirmed every four minutes.

Recent studies have shown that there has been an increase in cases of breast cancer and epidemic is believed to be the main reason. Apart from this, other reasons for this increase in cases are changes in lifestyle patterns, reproductive preferences and hormonal imbalances.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has cited Kovid-19 as a cause of increased risk and complications for people suffering from cancer. To prevent cancer or to manage symptoms and support treatment, yoga can serve as a holistic solution.

Yoga includes asanas, breathing exercises i.e. pranayama, meditation techniques, postures, chanting. Yoga asanas work on the body while breath helps in controlling emotions and elevating the mood. Yoga works to connect the mind and body with the mind to live.
