A big blow to England before the second ODI against India, Captain Morgan out of the series

England, who lost the first ODI against India, have been dealt a major blow.
Morgan has been ruled out of the remaining two ODIs against India due to a hand injury. The England and Wales Cricket Board said on Thursday that Captain Morgan had been ruled out of the one-day series against India due to injury.

Jose Butler will lead the team in the second match on Friday. While batsman Liam Livingstone may get a chance to start his one-day career. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings has also been injured and will miss the second ODI on Friday.

Morgan suffered a hand injury in the first ODI played on Tuesday. He came in batting even though he had four stitches in his right hand. He played 22 innings but could not save the team from defeat. England lost the first ODI by 66 runs. A three-match ODI series between India and England is being played in Pune. The second match will be played on Friday while the third and final match will be played on Sunday.

Notably, Eoin Morgan's dismissal is a major blow to England. Earlier, the team's star fast bowler Joffra Archer was also ruled out of the ODI series due to injury.
