Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new Swift in the Indian market . Swift is in its third generation where it was first introduced in the year 2017. Marutki Suzuki also introduced a new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system a year ago. Last year, however, the updated Swift was shown. Where an updated version will be launched this year. Older models will also be sold for a little longer. This is a good time to ask for a discount on the older version.
New features
The Swift will have not only an updated face, a new alloy, but also a refreshing cabin, a new feature has been introduced and an infotainment system for Vixie mid-spec trim. Previously, only single-DIN audio Dio players with Bluetooth and AX connectivity were offered. Along with all this, the company will also offer a touch infotainment system.
Maruti has recently updated both the Desire as well as the Ertiga with this new infotainment unit. In such a situation it is natural that Swift will also be given. In this, you will find a small screen size, on which you will not be able to play video, but the touch panel will be exactly like the old Honda Jazz. While the steering wheel will be a flat-bottom unit.
Maruti Suzuki will also connect a 1.2 liter dualjet motor which will come with more power i.e. 88hp. So the torque will be the same as the older version i.e. 113Nm type. When it comes to fuel mileage, it should be a little over 24kmpl. You can expect an extra Rs 15000 for these changes. Currently, Maruti Suzuki Swift can sell for Rs 5.49 lakh.
