The Supreme Court will hear on January 11 on the agricultural law and the peasant movement

A
hearing will be held in the Supreme Court on January 11 on the new agricultural laws and the ongoing agitation due to them. The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued a notice in the matter. The court said in the case that the petitions of all the petitioners challenging the three agricultural laws would be heard next Monday.

The hearing will be held on January 11 in the Supreme Court

Attorney General KK Venugopal, appearing for the Center on behalf of the Center, told the apex court that the government was in talks with the farmers and an agreement was likely to be reached. He said it would be difficult to reach any agreement with the farmers if the government gives an affidavit in court.

While the court on the other hand said in the case that we want to move the conversation forward, we will hear the matter on Monday. And if the Attorney General tells us that the conversation is still going on, we will adjourn the matter. A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde also found that the situation has not improved so far.

Farmers have been protesting against the black law for the last one and a half months

"Our response is ready, but we are communicating in a positive direction with the farmers," said Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. That is why no reply has been received in the court so far. It is worth mentioning that farmers have been protesting against this black law for the last one and a half months. No result.
