TaTa Motors unveiled the first look of its new Safari on Thursday. The first new Safari was unveiled at the company's Pune-based factory today after the flagoff ceremony. The new Safari will arrive in the company’s showroom by the end of January . The company will also start booking it soon.
All-wheel drive option
The new Safari is based on Tata Motors' award-winning Impact 2.0 design language and Omega Architecture (Omegark). Omegark is an architecture derived from Land Rover's D8 platform that gives customers the option of 4 × 4, i.e., all-wheel drive in the new Safari.
Gave a chrome look to the wheel and front
Tata Motors' new Safari interior theme is Oyster White. The company is offering an Ash Wood dashboard inside it. At the same time the company has given a chrome look to its wheels and front. Tata Motors said that an electric version of the new Safari may also come in the future. It is designed that way. Luxury is everywhere in the new incarnation for the safari that promotes Suv culture in the country.
Guenter Butchek, CEO and MD of Tata Motors, has described Tata Safari as an iconic brand. "It has been developed with Indian customers in mind," he said. This will further the legacy of the safari. Shailesh Chandra, chairman of the company's passenger vehicle, said the safari has a large fan following and has been the most popular SUV on Indian roads for more than two decades.
