 Post GDS Recruitment 2020-21: The  Indian Post has issued an official notification on December 21 for the recruitment of more than 4200 posts of Rural Postal Servants. Under which recruitment vacancies have been issued for a total of 4269 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for Karnataka Postal Circle and Gujarat Postal Circle. It may be mentioned that 10 pass candidates can also apply for the post of GDS in the post department.

GDS Recruitment: Educational Qualification

To apply for the posts of Rural Postal Servants (GDS) under Postal Circle Recruitment, candidates should have passed Std. 10 from any recognized institute or board.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2020-21: Age Limit

The minimum age for applying for GDS posts in the Post Department is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years.

GDS Recruitment: Application Charges

A charge of Rs.100 / - is to be paid to the general and OBC male candidates for application for these posts. While SC / ST class and women candidates do not have to pay any charge.

How the selection will be done

Candidates for the posts of Rural Postal Servants in the Post Department do not have to appear for any written examination. Selection will be based on merit list only.
