 - Adarsh Gaurav, Priyanka Chopra, Rajkumar Rao, Mahesh Manjrekar

Director - Ramin Bahrani
Series - Drama
Time - 2 hours 5 minutes
Rating - 4.5 / 5

The movie 'The White Tiger' starring Priyanka Chopra, Rajkumar Rao and Adarsh Gaurav has been in the news for a long time. The film has been eagerly awaited since the trailer was released. The film is based on Arvind Adiga's novel of the same name. The film is directed by American director Ramin Bahrani.

Story: Born in poverty, Balram Halwai (Ideal Pride) is a victim of hunger, misery and compulsion. His studies cannot be completed due to poverty but Balram’s dreams are too big. Leaving a village called Laxmangarh, Balram reaches Delhi. Balram, who works in a tea shop, is very impressed with Ashok (Rajkumar Rao), the son of a coal miner (Mahesh Manjrekar) and becomes his driver. Balram thinks that now his troubles and poverty will come to an end. But one day Ashok's wife Pinky (Priyanka Chopra) is driving at full speed and a child is crushed under her car. Balram is later blamed for the accident. This is where the turning point in Balram's life comes from. You have to watch the film to know how Balram gets out of all this and becomes a big man.

Review:The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani, an Iranian-American director. Often you will feel that the film does not have the Indian touch it deserves. However, the forceful acting of Adarsh Gaurav will not give you a chance to think about this. The work of ideal pride in the film is so nice that you can ignore small-big mistakes. The acting of the prince is also good. Priyanka Chopra's character is small but she has done enough justice. Adarsh Gaurav has played the role of Balram Halwai from the heart. There is nothing wrong with calling this film just ideal pride. If you have read Arvind Adiga's Booker Prize winning novel 'The White Tiger', you will know the story for sure, but it will be fun to watch this film. The Tiger of the film is Balram and Adarsh Gaurav has played the role of this Tiger well. However, the chic English of Adarsh, who plays the role of poor-backward Balram, sometimes falters. Still, it's like watching a movie.

Why should I watch it ?: This film should be watched for its excellent acting of Adarsh Gaurav.
