12th pass is a great opportunity for the youth to become an officer in the Indian Army . A sort notification was issued on joinindianarmy.nic.in. An extended notification will be issued shortly. Youngsters who have passed 12th in Science side can apply in this recruitment. This recruitment will be done under 10 + 2 Technical Entry Scheme Course-45. Candidates selected through training will be given permanent commission on the rank of lieutenant. The application of an unmarried man is suitable for this course. The application has to be done through online. The application process will start from February 1 on joinindianarmy.nic.in.
10 + 2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES)
Eligibility: Must have 12th pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with minimum 70% marks from recognized board / school. Passed candidates will be given permanent commission on the rank of lieutenant.
Training
- There will be a total of five years of training. This will include basic military training and technical training.
- The basic military training will be one year, which will be given at the Officers Training Academy Gaya
- The technical training will be for four years, in two phases. The first phase will be pre-commission training, which will be for three years. The second phase will be one year post commission training.
- Candidates who pass the final exam will be awarded the degree of Engineer
- In addition, candidates who successfully complete four years of training will be given a permanent commission at the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.
