Team India's playing XI for Melbourne Test announced, in Virat's absence find out who got the chance, who happened out

The second Test of the four-match Test series between India and Australia will be played in Melbourne from tomorrow, December 26.
Team India has announced its playing XI a day before the Boxing Day Test match. In this match, regular captain Virat Kohli will be on paternity leave and Ajinkya Rahane will be the captain of Team India.

4 changes made in Test playing XI

India have made four changes to the playing XI in the Melbourne Test. Shubhaman Gill will be opening with Mayank Agarwal in place of Prithvi Show. Rishabh Pant has been named as the wicketkeeper baseman. Riddhiman Saha has been dropped from the playing XI. India have given young baseman Shubhaman Gill a chance to make his Test debut. Shubhaman Gin has joined the playing XI instead of the earth show. The annoying thing is that KL Rahul has not been selected in the Melbourne Test despite being in superb form. KL is the strongest baseman in the absence of Rahul Virat. Yet its subtraction can sting.

Two players from India will make Test debuts

Two players from the Indian cricket team will make their Test debuts. Mohammad Siraj has been included in place of Mohammad Shami. Shubhaman Gill will open with Team India Mayank Agarwal, followed by Cheteshwar Pujara. After that, captain Ajinkya Rahane will bat. Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant will be in charge of the middle order of the Indian cricket team. The Indian cricket team will have three fast bowlers Jaspreet Bumrah, Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Siraj. While R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are in the role of spinners.

India's playing XI team has arrived

  1. Ajinkya Rahane (Captain), 2. Mayank Agarwal. 3. Shubhaman Gill (Debut). 4. Cheteshwar Pujara (Vice Captain), 5. Hanuma Vihari. 6. Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper). 7. Ravindra Jadeja. 8. R. Ashwin. 9. Umesh Yadav. 10. Jaspreet Bumrah. 11. Mohammad Siraj (Debut)

India lost the first Test

Ajinkya Rahane will replace Virat Kohli in the remaining three Tests while Cheteshwar Pujara is the vice-captain. In the first Test match played in Adelaide, the Indian cricket team lost by 8 wickets. After winning this day-night Test, Australia took a 1-0 lead in the four-match Test series. Virat Kohli has returned to India.
