Ind vs Aus 3rd ODI, Pandya and Jadeja showed their mettle, India beat Australia by 13 Runs

After a tumultuous batting by Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur's superb bowling helped India to a 13-run victory in the third and final ODI at the Manukha Oval in Canberra.
However, Australia won the series 2-1 but Virat Kohli's team stopped the whitewash by winning the final match. In the final match, India won the toss and elected to bat first. With the help of half-centuries from captain Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja, India scored 302 for five in the allotted 50 overs. In response, the Australian team was bowled out for 289 in 49.3 overs. This is Australia's first defeat on the field.

Australia's bad start

The start of the 303-run Australian team did not go as expected. Australia had a disappointing start against the first two ODIs. The team lost important wickets of Marnus Labushan and Steven Smith for 56 runs. Both scored seven runs each. Then Moises Henriques and Cameron Green also did not last long at the crease. Henriques scored 22 and Green 21 runs.

Captain Finch and Maxwell's half-century went by

Australia's batting did not live up to expectations but captain Aaron Finch scored another half-century in the series. Finch kept one edge but in the 26th over, Ravindra Jadeja gave India a big lead by collecting the pavilion from Finch. Finch hit 75 off 82 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. Alex Carey and Glenn Maxwell then batted brilliantly. In that too, Maxwell kept Australia's hopes of victory alive by batting in a tumultuous manner but at crucial times Jaspreet Bumrah relieved India by dismissing him. He hit 59 off 38 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes. For India, Shardul Thakur had three, Natarajan and Jaspreet Bumrah two each and Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja one each.
