Govind Chauhan, Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and activists in Jammu and Kashmir are constantly on the hit list of terrorists. A total of three BJP leaders, who were returning home in Kulgam, were attacked by militants on Thursday evening. All three BJP leaders were shot dead. Police and army have launched a house-to-house search operation in the entire area.
According to information received, BJP youth front general secretary Fida Hussain was on his way home with his two comrades Umar Ramzan and Haroon Beg. Terrorists opened fire on them along the way. The militants fled after the attack. Police rushed to the spot and rushed the BJP leaders to the hospital where all the three succumbed to their injuries.
Police and the army are now working together to investigate one house in the area. It is learned that the terrorists came in a vehicle. They fled after firing on BJP leaders. It may be noted here that terrorists have attacked many BJP leaders in Kashmir before. As a result, some BJP leaders have resigned out of fear.
