Pubg in the country completely closed from today

New Delhi: From
today, the Chinese game app PUBG has been completely banned in the country. However, it was closed last month with 117 Chinese apps in the country following orders from the Center. This included both PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Lite. But this game could be played by people who had already installed it in their mobile.

Now PUBG Mobile has announced that the app will stop functioning in India from today itself. From 30 October, Indian users will not be able to use PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Lite in any case. This information has been given by PubG India itself through a Facebook post.

Dear fans, TBSNT Games is going to discontinue all its services and access to India on 30 October 2020, following an interim order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 2 September 2020, PubG Mobile wrote in a Facebook post.

Safety of user data has always been our top priority and we have always complied with the applicable data security laws and regulations in India. We are very sorry to leave here. Thank you all. PUBG Mobile has also highlighted that it has protected user privacy and data. The Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile and other Chinese apps due to privacy and security threats.

Please tell that in this post it has also been added that the rights to publish PUBG Mobile in India will also come back to PUBG Corp. With Tencent Games shutting down server access, PubG Mobile will also stop working for users who were able to play it even after the game was banned.
