A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau ( NCB ), which has been investigating Bollywood drug connections for the past two months, had a major breakthrough on Saturday night. NCB team has arrested TV actress Preetika Chauhan from Versova. It is to be noted here that actress Preetika Chauhan has acted in many serials like 'Sawdhan India' and 'CID'.
Samir Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB, received important inputs regarding drug suppliers in Mumbai's Western Region. In this regard he set a trap at a signal in Versova and took two people fast from there. One of them was actress Preetika Chauhan and the other was 20-year-old Faisal. NCB says Faisal was the supplier while Pritika Chauhan was the receiver. Interrogation of the two revealed that the drugs had reached Faisal through a Deepak Rathore from Versova. The accused were arrested and produced in court and sent to NCB remand by the court.
It is learned that 100 grams of cannabis was found from TV actress Preetika Chauhan. Last week, the NCB arrested Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Grabiella Demetriades. Sahil's name came up during interrogation with him. The taxi driver admitted that he was supplying drugs to Agicilaos Demetriades. He also claimed that Agicilaos Demetrius is a peddler. This statement has added to the trouble of Arjun Rampal's close relatives.
