In the last 24 hours, less than 37 thousand new cases have been reported in the country. At the same time, more than 63 thousand patients have been cured. 488 more people have died. According to the data released on Tuesday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 36,469 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 79,46,429. The total figure has increased to 1,19,502 with 488 deaths. In the last 24 hours, 63,842 patients were discharged from the hospital. So far 72,01,070 have been cured. The number of active cases has come down to 6,25,857.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10 crore 44 lakh 20 thousand 894 sample tests for corona virus were conducted in the country till October 26, of which 9 lakh 58 thousand 116 samples were tested yesterday.
Maharashtra has been affected the most by corona virus in India. It is the state that has the most active cases. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have the most active cases after Maharashtra. India has the second highest number of active cases in the world.
On the other hand, America is the country which has been most affected by the Corona virus. A total of 8,700,053 have been infected in the US now. At the same time, 225,696 people have died. The number of infected in India has reached 7,946,429. So far 119,502 people have lost their lives.
Brazil is the third country in the world which has been affected more than Corona. A total of 5,409,854 people have been infected here. 157,397 people have died. There are 1,520,800 infected in Russia. 26,092 people have died. In France 1,209,651 were infected while 35,052 died. A total of 1,102,301 cases have been reported in Argentina so far. 29,301 people have died.
