AI summit inaugurated: Modi said - committed to make India the world's AI center


New Delhi:
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Rage 2020 - Responsible Artificial Intelligence for Social Empowerment 2020. On this occasion, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Communications, Law and Justice, Honored and former Co-President of Turing Award Padma Bhushan, US President Information Technology Advisory Committee Prof. Raj Reddy was present.

Also present were Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani, CEO IBM India Dr. Arvind Krishna, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant among others. From October 5 to October 9, the summit will be held in 45 sessions, with around 300 speakers from the education, industry and government sectors.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister emphasized that at every step of history, India has led the world in the field of knowledge and education. Today, India is making an outstanding contribution in this era of IT. He emphasized the commitment of making India the AI ​​center of the world.

Modi said that India has also proved itself as the powerhouse of the global IT services industry. We want India to become a global center for AI. Many Indians are already working in this field. I hope that more people will work in this area in the times to come. Our approach to this is driven by the core principles of teamwork, trust, cooperation, responsibility and inclusiveness.

Modi said that India's National Program on Artificial Intelligence will be dedicated to the proper use of AI in addressing social problems. He emphasized that we should ensure that human intelligence is always a few steps ahead of AI.

When we discuss AI, we have no doubt that human creativity and human emotions remain our greatest strengths. These feelings are our distinct advantage over machines. Even the best of good cannot solve the problems of mankind without mixing it with our intelligence.
