Ittefaq was the first Bollywood film which did not have a single song and neither did it have an interval. A remake of Rajesh Khanna's film was made in 2017
Rajesh Khanna starrer film Ittefaq was one of the hit films of the year 1969. This film was directed by veteran film producer and director Yash Chopra. Yash Chopra also received the Best Director Award at Filmfare in 1970 for this film. Seeing the success of this film of Rajesh Khanna, it was made again after 48 years. Sonakshi Sinha, Akshay Khanna and Siddharth Malhotra were seen in lead roles in the film. The film was directed by Abhay Chopra. However, this film could not do anything special.
