Loksabha Election result Mayawati: Despite being at zero, BSP became BJP's 'helper' on these 16 seats of UP, INDIA alliance lost

Lok Sabha elections 2024 were very bad for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). It did not win a single seat. Even in Uttar Pradesh, where BSP used to have a government, its account was not opened. But yes, it was definitely helpful for BJP here. There are 16 such seats in the state where its votes helped BJP. The figures are testifying to this.

On those 16 seats, BSP got more votes than the victory margin of BJP and its allies. Out of these, BJP won 14 seats, while its allies won 2 seats. If these seats had gone to India Alliance, NDA's figure would have remained at 278. BJP has got 33 seats in UP, if it had lost on these 14 seats, its number of seats would have remained at 19, which would have been a big setback.

Which seats are those?

Let's take the example of Bhadohi. Here India Alliance's candidate Lalitesh Tripathi got 4.2 lakh votes. Whereas, BJP's Vinod Kumar Bind, who won, got 4 lakh 59 thousand 982 votes. He won by about 45 thousand votes. BSP's Harishankar was at third place. He got 1 lakh 55 thousand votes. Imagine if these votes would have gone to India's Lalitesh Tripathi's account, he would have won.

Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) won in Mirzapur. She got 4 lakh 71 thousand 631 votes. While Ramesh Chand Bind of SP got 4 lakh 33 thousand 821 votes. Anupriya won by about 38 thousand votes. BSP was at third place here. Manish Kumar got 1 lakh 44 thousand 446 votes. These votes of BSP proved to be important in Anupriya's victory.

  • In Akbarpur, BJP's Devendra Singh got 5 lakh 17,423 votes. While SP's Rajaram Pal got 4 lakh 73,78 votes. BSP was at third place. It got 73 thousand 140 votes. That means BJP won here by 44 thousand 345 votes. If BSP's votes were converted to SP, BJP would have lost.
  • In Aligarh, BJP's Satish Gautam got 501834 votes. SP's Bijendra Singh got 486187 votes. BSP was at third place. It got 123929 votes. Here BJP won by 15 thousand 647 votes. That means if BSP's votes had gone to SP here too, the result would not have been in BJP's favour.
  • In Amroha, BJP won by 28 thousand 670 votes. BSP got 1 lakh 64 thousand 99 votes. If SP had got even 30 thousand votes out of this, then BJP's defeat was certain.
  • In Bansgaon, BJP won by 3 thousand 150 votes. BSP got 64 thousand 750 votes. If these votes were given to SP candidate, he would have won by a huge margin.
  • In Bhadohi, BJP won by 44 thousand votes. BSP got 1 lakh 55 thousand votes.
  • In Bijnor, BJP won by 37 thousand 58 votes. BSP got 2 lakh 18 thousand 986 votes.
  • In Deoria, BJP won by 34 thousand 842 votes. BSP got 45 thousand 564 votes.
  • In Farrukhabad, BJP won by 2 thousand 678 votes. BSP got 45 thousand 390 votes.
  • In Fatehpur Sikri, BJP won by 43 thousand 405 votes. BSP got 1 lakh 20 thousand 539 votes.

  • In Phulpur, BJP won by 4 thousand 332 votes. BSP got 82 thousand votes.
  • In Shahjahanpur, BJP won by 55 thousand votes. BSP got 91 thousand votes.
