After the increase in the price of Amul milk, the leading milk company Mother Dairy has also increased the price of all types of fresh milk in packets by Rs 2 per liter from June 3. Both these leading dairy companies have increased the price of milk before the results of the Lok Sabha elections.
Just in the morning, we got the shock of the increase in the price of Amul milk and the increase in toll plaza tax, now Mother Dairy has also increased the price of milk. Mother Dairy has increased the price of milk by two rupees per liter. Earlier, Amul has also increased the rate of its milk by 2 rupees per liter. These new rates of milk have come into effect from today i.e. 3 June.

Mother Dairy also increased the rates
When Amul increased the price of its milk, there was a fear that Mother Dairy could also announce a price hike. Earlier in December 2022, Mother Dairy had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. However, last year the companies had denied increasing the prices for the time being.
Due to this, the rates were increased
The company made this announcement on Monday. The company has increased the prices due to the increase in input cost in the last 15 months. Mother Dairy has increased the prices of all types of milk. The new prices have come into effect from today i.e. Monday, June 3. Earlier on Sunday, Amul had increased the price of milk. Both these big dairy companies have increased the price of milk in June after the Lok Sabha elections ended.
Amul Gold: Rs 66 per liter
According to the new price, the price of Amul Gold 500 ml has increased from Rs 32 to Rs 33. The price of one liter of Amul Gold has increased to Rs 66. Earlier its price was Rs 64 per liter. Similarly, the price of Amul Taaza 500 ml has increased from Rs 26 to Rs 27. The price of Amul Shakti 500 ml has increased from Rs 29 to Rs 30. Except for Amul Taaza small pouch, the price of all has been increased by Rs 2 per liter.
Milk became costlier by Rs 10 in 3 years
The last increase in the price of Amul milk was done on 3 February 2023. At that time, one liter of Amul Gold milk was being sold for Rs 64. At the same time, the price of full cream milk was Rs 56 per liter in June 2021. If we look at the prices from June 2021, the price of milk has increased by Rs 10 in three years till June 2024. Along with Amul, other big milk companies of the country like Mother Dairy, Govardhan and Nandini have also increased the prices of milk continuously. According to the Ministry of Statistics, the prices of milk and other milk products have increased by about 10 percent between February 2021 and February 2023.
