Firoz Khan was not only considered a great actor of Bollywood, but along with that he was also a good filmmaker. He had directed films like 'Jaambaaz', 'Qurbani' and 'Dayawan'. About 32 years ago, he was making a film, which he had offered to the three Khans of Bollywood. Salman, Shahrukh and Aamir Khan all three got offers for the film. But, it is said in the report that all three of them had rejected that film.
It is said that when none of the three agreed to do that film, then Firoz Khan offered that film to Sanjay Dutt. Sanju Baba agreed to do that film. That film was released in theaters on October 6, 1992 and was a good earner at the box office. It is said that approximately Rs 3 crores were spent in making the film and the picture did a business of Rs 7-8 crores.
Which movie was it?
The name of that film is 'Yalgaar'. Stars like Manisha Koirala, Kabir Bedi, Nagma, Mukhesh Khanna and Neena Gupta were seen in it along with Sanjay Dutt. This film also made a big record in its name. It is said that it was the 9th highest grossing film of that year. People not only liked the film, but along with it its songs were also very popular. There was a song, 'Tumhe aana hai, zara der lagegi', which became very famous.
Amitabh Bachchan was also offered the film
Sanjay Dutt was seen in the role for which Firoz had approached Salman, Shahrukh and Aamir. However, there was a more special role in the film, in which Firoz wanted to cast Amitabh Bachchan. That role was of Firoz's elder brother, in which Mukesh Khanna was later seen. It is said that when the story of the film was told to Amitabh, he did not like the script. For this reason we could not talk to him.
