 The second qualifier match of  IPL 2024  was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on last Friday (24 May). In this match, SRH defeated RR by 36 runs and knocked them out of the tournament and also confirmed their ticket to the final. Meanwhile, Rahul Tripathi  hit  a  tremendous six off  Trent Boult,  the  video of which is now going viral on social media.

This six by Rahul Tripathi was seen in the fifth over of Sunrisers Hyderabad's innings. Tripathi hit an attacking shot on the very first ball of Bolt and hit a six using only his wrists. This ball went on an air journey after hitting Tripathi's bat and then went straight outside the boundary. This is the reason why cricket fans liked this shot of Tripathi a lot.

Let us tell you that in this match, Rahul Tripathi scored 37 runs in 15 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. It is worth noting that this fast innings of Tripathi came for Sunrisers when they were in trouble. This is because they lost their first wicket at a score of just 13 runs. But the way Tripathi scored the runs brought Hyderabad back into the match.

Talking about this match, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first in Qualifier 2, after which they scored 175 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Now Rajasthan Royals had a target of 176 runs, in response to which Dhruv Jurel (56) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (42) played good innings for RR, but despite this, their team could score only 139 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 36 runs.
