53 year old Manisha Koirala said that after cancer she had to struggle with it. He said, somewhere in my life there is something incomplete. As you grow up, you accept your truth. Not all dreams come true. There are many dreams which you later realize will not be fulfilled and you compromise with them. Motherhood is also one of them for me. It was very difficult to have ovarian cancer and not be able to become a mother. But I have come to terms with it. I tell myself, bygones are bygones and let me do my best with what I have.”
What did you say about adopting a child?
When Manisha Koirala was asked about adopting a child, she said, “I thought a lot about adopting a child. But I realized that I get stressed very easily. I start getting anxiety very easily. So after a lot of thinking, I decided that I would like to be a godmother. I have my old parents, whom I love very much. I am the apple of their eyes. “I now often go back to Kathmandu and spend time with them and that makes me happy.”
Ovarian cancer
These days Manisha Koirala is giving many interviews regarding 'Hiramandi'. He expressed gratitude to everyone after the release of 'Hiramandi'. While sharing a long note on Instagram, he said that he has got a new life after cancer. Manisha Koirala has battled ovarian cancer. He was diagnosed with this disease in the year 2012. After this, he stayed abroad for 2 years and got his treatment done.
