A major accident could have been avoided
Moushumi Chatterjee, the famous actress of the 70s and 80s, was born on 26 April 1998 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Moushumi Chatterjee got married at the age of 16 when she was in tenth class. Moushumi Chatterjee gave birth to a daughter at the age of 18. After marriage, she started her acting career with the Bengali film Balika Vadhu. Moushumi had entered Bollywood in 1972 and then she started getting hit films one after another. Once Moushumi Chatterjee revealed that while she was shooting a rape scene in the film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, a major accident almost happened to her. Moushumi Chatterjee was pregnant during that time.
The actress has suffered the pain of the death of her young daughter.
Moushumi Chatterjee had told that her role in the film was that of a rape survivor Tulsi and she had a serious accident during the shooting of the rape scene in the film. A lot of water had fallen on her and due to this she fell down and started bleeding, although she did not have a miscarriage during this period and later she gave birth to a daughter. After this, Moushumi Chatterjee also had to face the pain of the death of a young daughter. Moushumi Chatterjee's daughter's health had deteriorated due to diabetes. Before leaving this world, the actress's daughter remained in a coma for two and a half years.
