Now recently, an actor Ranjit has revealed that Parveen was also thrown out of one of Amitabh's films and then Jaya Bachchan became a part of that film. The film about which Ranjit told is 'Silsila' which was released 43 years ago in 1981.

In an interview given to ANI, Ranjeet said, “She (Parveen Babi) was my good friend. She was quite alone. She was very beautiful. She was always smiling and we called her Fada because of her teeth. Once she was very sad and was crying. I asked him, 'What happened Parveen?' A film was made, 'Silsila'. Parveen was the original heroine for him, but he was asked to leave the film.”

Ranjit also said that the film was to be made with Rekha and Parveen, but due to some controversy, Jaya was cast and the film was made with Rekha and Jaya. Let us tell you, that picture was directed by Yash Chopra. Shashi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kapoor were also a part of that film.
