Kalki Koechlin reveals how people become harsh towards women above 40. In her new interview with HT, Kalki spoke openly about people's behavior towards women above 40. The actress revealed how she is choosing to work less after the birth of her daughter as she wants to spend more time with her. Kalki said that she is only doing projects that impact her in a different way. The actress said – “People are very harsh towards women above 40. They don't know anything about women over 40. They don't know what happens to our bodies, they don't know much about menopause, also because we're not writing about it."

During the conversation, Kalki Koechlin told that she is not in a hurry to choose a new film project. She doesn't want to be part of the crowd. Instead she prefers to work on stories that matter. She told that she thinks more before choosing her work. Unless she gets a chance to do some good work, she does not want to be away from her daughter. Kalki said that even though many platforms are available today, good work is available only occasionally. One has to wait for this. The actress said that every script is not a diamond.
