Siddharth Malhotra's film Yodha, which released this week at the box office, is lagging behind Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan's horror film Shaitan in terms of earnings. The film has collected less than Shaitan even on the fifth day. Yoddha has been directed by Pushkar Ojha and Shaitan has been directed by Vikas Bahl.
This week, Siddharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani's film Yoddha has been released at the box office. The makers had high expectations from this action packed film. However, Ajay Devgan's encounter with the devil, which is already doing strong business at the box office, has cost Yodha a lot. Since its release, there has not been a single day in which Yoddha has done more business than Shaitan.
Yoddha has done a business of Rs 21.30* crore at the box office in five days. This film got an opening of Rs 4.1 crore. After this, it earned Rs 5.75 crore on the second day, Rs 7 crore on the third day and Rs 2.15 crore on the fourth day. Now on the fifth day, there has been a slight jump in the film's earnings and it has done a business of Rs 2.30* crore.

Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan's horror film Shaitan hit the theaters on March 8. Since then this film is earning bumper. Despite being a mid-budget film, Shaitan did strong business at the box office. In the second week it faced Yoddha, but it outweighed Yoddha in terms of earnings every day. On the first day of the second week i.e. on Friday the film has done a business of Rs 5.05 crores, on Saturday 8.5 crores, on Sunday 9.75 crores, on Monday 3 crores and on Tuesday also it has done a business of around Rs 3* crores. Now the earning of the film has reached Rs 109.05* crore.
Both the films Shaitan and Yoddha are completely different from each other. While Yodha is a film full of action and adventure, Shaitan is a horror drama. Shaitan is directed by Vikas Bahl. Apart from Ajay and Madhavan, stars like Janaki Bodiwala and Jyotika are also seen in it. Yoddha has been directed by Pushkar Ojha. This film also stars actors like Ronit Roy and Tanuj Virwani.
