Now this film is to be released on 10th April. But looking at the circumstances, it seems that the release of 'Maidan' may not be postponed once again. Actually, Ajay's film is in trouble even before its release. A complaint has been filed against the film's producer Boney Kapoor.
Boney Kapoor has been accused of not paying Rs 1 crore. Due to which a case has been registered against him in Mumbai. According to the report of Mid Day, a person named Ninad Nayampalli has filed a complaint against the producer of 'Maidan'. Ninad Nayampalli is a camera vendor, who provides camera related items to filmmakers and people. Along with Boney Kapoor, this person has also filed a complaint against the other producers of the film.
Not only this, the complainant has requested the Mumbai Civil Court to ban Boney Kapoor's film 'Maidan' until he returns the money. The complainant says that Boney and his team had taken some camera related equipment for the shooting of the film. Initially there was no problem of any kind in sending money and invoicing. But the process of sending payments was stopped in December 2020. He also talked to Boney on this matter. But he only consoled.
Despite Boney Kapoor's insistence, payment of approximately Rs 1 crore was not made. After which the complainant decided to take legal action. Nidan has also shared some screenshots. Boney Kapoor's reaction has also come to light on this matter. He says that instead of Rs 1 crore, Rs 63 lakh is due from his side.
