Demand for compensation of Rs 11 lakh

He has demanded damages of Rs 11 lakh in the contempt petition. It is also claimed that Kashif Ali Khan posted similar content on his social media account Instagram and his post was shared by Rakhi Sawant. This has damaged his reputation. Let us tell you that Kashif Ali Khan is the lawyer of Munmun Dhanecha, who was arrested by Sameer Wankhede's team in the 2021 Cruise Drugs Raid case.

In the petition, Sameer Wankhede said, “The defense side (Kashif Ali Khan and Rakhi Sawant) made derogatory statements without checking the facts.” It has also been alleged in the petition that the aim of Kashif Ali Khan was to fill the minds of people with prejudice regarding the case that was going on against his client at that time and in which his client was an accused.
