Make baked gujiya instead of deep frying.

If Gujhiya is not eaten on Holi, it feels incomplete. If you are a fitness freak or diabetic then make baked gujiya instead of deep frying. For this you will need wheat flour, one-fourth cup of desi ghee, mawa, finely chopped cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, cardamom powder, milk, grated coconut.

method of making

First of all, add ghee to wheat flour and mix it well with hands and then make soft dough with lukewarm water. Cover it with a fine cloth and keep it aside. Add some ghee in the pan and roast all the nuts on medium flame for two to three minutes and also fry the mawa lightly. Once everything cools down, prepare the filling by mixing mawa, cardamom powder and remaining nuts in a bowl. Now prepare all the Gujiyas one by one and transfer it to the baking tray. Now brush with desi ghee and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 degree pre-heat.
