Former CEO of Twitter sued Elon Musk, sought damages of Rs 1061 crore


Elon Musk, who is counted among the richest people in the country, has suffered a double blow. On one hand, he lost the title of being the richest person in the world, while on the other hand, his former employees have sued Musk. They allege that Musk fired them from the job without any reason.

In fact, the company's previous leadership team, including Twitter's former CEO Parag Agarwal and Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk.

Case filed in American court

Former Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal, Gadde, former Twitter Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and General Counsel Sean Edgett have filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against the heads of Tesla and SpaceX and X Corp., the lawsuit said. It has been reported that Musk has a lot of anger towards Agarwal, Gadde, Segal and Edgett, because they strongly represented the interests of Twitter's public shareholders when Musk tried to back out of the Twitter deal.

Apart from Parag, Musk had also dismissed many officials simultaneously. The issue of removing Parag Aggarwal had gained a lot of attention. On these layoffs, Elon Musk said that he wants to run the company afresh. Since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, many changes have been made in it. Even the name of Twitter was changed to x.
