Amul created history, now America will also drink Indian milk

With this, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, the owner of Amul brand, has also created a new history. This is the first entry of an Indian dairy brand in America.

Amul brand, which supplies lakhs of liters of fresh milk daily in India, will now showcase its power in America as well. Amul brand will work in the fresh milk segment here.

Deal with 108 year old dairy

Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has signed a deal with America's 108-year-old dairy 'Michigan Milk Producers Association' to sell Amul brand milk in America. GCMMF Managing Director Jayen Mehta announced this in the annual meeting of the cooperative. This is the first time that Amul brand's fresh milk range is being launched outside India in markets like America. There is a large population of Indian origin community in America.

Amul Milk will be available in this much packaging

Amul will sell milk in the US in packaging of one gallon (3.8 litres) and half gallon (1.9 litres). In America, only Amul Gold brand with 6% fat, Amul Shakti brand with 4.5% fat, Amul Taaza with 3% fat and Amul Slim brand with 2% fat will be sold. These brands will currently be sold in the East Coast and Mid-West markets.

Amul is a household name in India too. This is one of the super brands of India. Not only this, Amul has a big contribution in bringing 'White Revolution' in India. Its success led to the spread of dairy co-operatives on a large scale in India and due to this, the foundation of the National Dairy Development Board was also laid.
