The temple is famous for the worship of Ravana, now the idol of Lord Ram has been consecrated.

Shiv Mandir Noida: Along with the consecration of the new idol in the Ram temple of Ayodhya, the idol of Mother Sita and Lakshman ji along with Lord Ram was also installed in Birsakh village of Noida. The amazing thing is that this temple has a special connection with Ravana.

Ravana was born 

This ancient Shiva temple is located in Bisrakh village of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida). Local people consider this place to be the birthplace of Ravana. For this reason, there is an ancient temple here, in which Ravana and his worshiper Lord Shiva are worshipped. It is also said that the eight-armed Shivalinga present in this Shiva temple was established by Ravana's father Vishrava Rishi. 

Ram sits for the first time 

Along with the consecration ceremony, on Monday, January 22, 2024, in the Ram temple of Ayodhya, the idol of Lord Ram was installed for the first time in this historical temple located near Noida. Where Ravana is also worshipped. 

Mahant Ramdas, the chief priest of this temple, said that for the first time, the idols of Lord Ram as well as Sita ji and Lakshman ji were installed in the temple premises with full rituals. The idols of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman ji installed in this temple have been brought from Rajasthan.

Ravana got the boon in this temple

It is believed that Ravana also used to come here to worship the eight-armed Shivalinga. He also did penance and after this, being pleased with Ravana's worship, Lord Shiva gave Ravana the boon of being a great scholar and mighty man.
