Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has approached the High Court and demanded a stay on the defamation case filed by lyricist Javed Akhtar.

But this frankness has cost him dearly many times. Due to her statements she often lands herself in trouble. Kangana has once again become a part of the discussion. Actually, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation case against him.
Now there is a new twist in this matter. Kangana Ranaut has demanded a stay on this defamation case in the Bombay High Court. Kangana now wants to come out of this dilemma, due to which she has approached the High Court. If we talk about the whole matter, it all started in the year 2020. Kangana and Javed Akhtar had also given fierce statements against each other. But it was started by Kangana Ranaut by showing her outspokenness.
During an interview, Kangana had said a lot against Javed Akhtar. Here he also talked about the meeting with Javed Akhtar. Not only this, he said that his meeting with Javed Akhtar was quite disturbing. When this interview came to light, Javed Akhtar had filed a case against him accusing him of making defamatory comments. After which Kangana also made many allegations against him. However, on July 24, 2023, the court had adjourned the case filed by Kangana.
Now Kangana Ranaut has once again approached the court in this matter. It is believed that the court can hear this matter on January 9. The actress also says that if the hearing is held only on the allegations made by Javed Akhtar, then it will be injustice to him.
