His web series Indian Police Force is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video in a few days. Now, a few days before the release, it has been revealed that Shilpa Shetty's role was initially going to be played by a male actor.

Rohit Shetty himself had told some time ago that initially he had a male actor in mind for Shilpa's role. However, later he offered that role to Shilpa Shetty. However, now the name of the male actor who has been replaced by Shilpa has also come to light.

In an interview, Shilpa Shetty revealed in gestures that the role she played in the Indian Police Force was initially supposed to go to Sunil Shetty. He said, “When I asked him (Rohit Shetty), he said if not this Shetty then some other Shetty.” Shilpa told that Rohit was pointing towards Sunil Shetty.

Shilpa said that I think she must have had some reason behind changing the gender of the character. However, he said that the way Rohit Shetty has woven the character, it is not biased towards any gender. Shilpa is playing the role of a police officer in the series. He has told that in this he is playing the role of a senior police officer, who is strict and has the image of an honest officer. The name of her character is Tara Shetty.

This much awaited series of Rohit Shetty is going to be released on 19th December. It will be streamed on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Apart from Shilpa, actors like Siddharth Malhotra, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Sharad Kelkar, Shweta Tripathi, Nikitin Dheer and Mukesh Rishi will be seen in this series.
