DC was hit hard by the flop performance of David Warner and other batsmen, Mahish Tikshana and Daniel Sams wreaked havoc.

In the 14th match of ILT20 2024, Sharjah Warriors defeated Dubai Capitals (Sharjah Warriors vs Dubai Capitals) by 9 wickets with 41 balls remaining. Playing first, poor batting was seen from Dubai Capitals and the team lost all its wickets in 18.2 overs and scored 108, in reply Sharjah Warriors won by scoring 105/1 in 13.1 overs. Mahish Teekshana (4/20) of Sharjah Warriors was adjudged the player of the match.

Dubai Capitals won the toss and decided to bat first, which seemed to be wrong from the very beginning. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 9 runs and was out in the second over. Ben Dunk scored 8 runs. Captain David Warner's poor form continued and he played a slow inning of 16 runs in 18 balls. Sam Billings scored 9 runs, while Max Holden could not even open his account.

Rovman Powell also could not show anything special and after scoring 10 runs, he was out as the sixth wicket at the score of 56 in the 11th over. Sikandar Raza scored the maximum 22 runs for the team. Whereas, Rudolf van der Merwe played an inning of 21 runs. In this way the team was somehow successful in crossing the score of 100. For Sharjah Warriors, Mahish Teekshana took four wickets and Daniel Sams took three wickets.
