Umran Malik's name is nowhere in the squad announced for the three-format series between India and South Africa (IND vs SA) and the two four-day Test matches against South Africa A. Seeing this, former Team India cricketer Irfan Pathan has raised his voice. He wrote on social media platform X,
“I am quite sure that the guy who was in the playing 11 of the Indian team a few months ago can definitely get a place in the India A team.”

Team India's fast bowler Umran Malik, who has the ability to bowl the ball at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour continuously. He did not get a place in the squad for the all-format series against South Africa and the four-day Test match between India A and South Africa, that is why Irfan Pathan has raised his voice for him. Fans believe that Umran Malik bowls fast but he proves to be very expensive, perhaps that is why Team India selectors have dropped him.
