When he was not given a chance in any format for the South Africa tour, Irfan Pathan raised his voice for this player.

Irfan Pathan: Team India has to travel to South Africa this month where the Indian team will play all format series. Along with the senior Indian team, the A team will also play two four-day test matches, for which the selection committee of Team India has announced different squads. When a player of Team India did not get a chance in any squad of the team selected for this series, then former cricketer Irfan Pathan raised his voice for that player and tweeted on social media platform X. Which has become a topic of discussion among the fans.

Umran Malik's name is nowhere in the squad announced for the three-format series between India and South Africa (IND vs SA) and the two four-day Test matches against South Africa A. Seeing this, former Team India cricketer Irfan Pathan has raised his voice. He wrote on social media platform X,

“I am quite sure that the guy who was in the playing 11 of the Indian team a few months ago can definitely get a place in the India A team.”

Umran Malik's performance in international cricket

Team India's fast bowler Umran Malik, who has the ability to bowl the ball at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour continuously. He did not get a place in the squad for the all-format series against South Africa and the four-day Test match between India A and South Africa, that is why Irfan Pathan has raised his voice for him. Fans believe that Umran Malik bowls fast but he proves to be very expensive, perhaps that is why Team India selectors have dropped him.

He has played 8 T20 matches for the Indian team in which he has taken 11 wickets but during this period his economy rate has been 10.48. Whereas in ODI cricket, he has taken 13 wickets in 10 matches and here too he has proved to be very expensive, his economy rate in ODIs has been 6.54.
