AUS vs PAK: Pakistan may face a big blow before the second test, star fast bowler injured

 

Pakistan Cricket Team has currently reached Australia to play a three-match Test series. In the first match of this series, Pakistan team had a very disappointing performance and had to face defeat at the hands of Australia by a huge margin of 360 runs. Now the second test between Pakistan and Australia is going to start from 26th December. Before this test, a bad news is coming for Pakistan team. Actually, the team's star fast bowler Khurram Shahzad has been injured.

Khurram Shahzad, who made his Test debut in the first Test match under Shan Masood, complained of pain in his left side after which he has been taken for an MRI scan. Pakistan Cricket Board has shared the information about Khurram's injury.

Pakistan Cricket Board issued a statement saying, 'On the complaint of Khurram during the test match, he was sent for MRI scan. The PCB will share further information at the appropriate time after the medical panel receives and assesses the report.

At present, the only information that has come to light is how deep Khurram's injury is. If these fast bowlers are out of the second test match, it will be a big blow for Pakistan. Actually, this bowler had bowled brilliantly in the first test match. He dismissed Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh in the first innings of the first Test against Australia. Whereas in the second innings, he showed the way to the pavilion to David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. Overall he took 5 wickets in the first test match.

Seeing the excellent bowling of Khurram, the Pakistan team is hoping that he becomes completely fit before the second test match. Let us tell you that the second test match between Pakistan and Australia will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground from 26th December.
