Delhi's air becomes more poisonous, GRAP-4 implemented, know whom all are banned


There is no relief yet from the increasing level of pollution in Delhi-NCR. The situation is worsening day by day. In such a situation, now the Delhi government has implemented the fourth phase of Graded Action Response System (GRAP) in the capital. With the implementation of the fourth phase, restrictions will be further tightened in Delhi.

In view of the increasing threat of pollution in Delhi, the Kejriwal government has implemented the fourth phase of the Graded Action Response System (GRAP). With this, the restrictions regarding pollution in Delhi which is suffocating will become more stringent than before. Till now the third phase of GRAP was in force in Delhi, but due to increase in pollution level on Saturday and Sunday, it has been decided to implement GRAP-4.

With the implementation of Grap-4, entry of trucks will now be banned in Delhi. However, movement of trucks carrying essential commodities and LNG-CNAG and electric trucks will continue. Along with this, except those carrying essential commodities and providing essential services, plying of diesel vehicles and heavy goods vehicles registered in Delhi will be banned.

Ban on these things will remain applicable in Grape-4

Ban on entry of trucks in Delhi, except all CNG-electric trucks carrying essential commodities and connected to essential services.

Apart from electronic vehicles, CNG and BS VI diesel vehicles, light commercial vehicles registered outside Delhi, except those carrying essential commodities and providing essential services, will not be allowed to enter Delhi.

Ban on plying of diesel vehicles, medium and heavy goods vehicles registered in Delhi, except vehicles carrying essential commodities and providing essential services.

Apart from primary schools, decision to close schools above class 6 also. Delhi and state government can take the decision of online classes.

Central and state governments can decide to work from home for their employees. State governments can take decisions on plying of private vehicles on roads on odd-even basis.

Environment Minister Gopal Rai has called a meeting of all concerned departments at Delhi Secretariat tomorrow, Monday at 12 noon, to control the increasing pollution in Delhi and strictly implement GRAP-4. Officials from a total of 28 related departments including Transport Department, Education Department, MCD, NMC, DCB, Revenue, Delhi Police, Delhi Traffic Police will participate in this meeting.
