In Kannur, Kerala, a youth suffering from mobile addiction has beaten his mother to death. The young man's mother was asking him to reduce his use of mobile phone. On this matter the accused got angry and attacked the mother. The police arrested the accused and presented him in the court, from where he has been sent to a mental hospital for treatment.

In Kerala, a young man has beaten his mother to death. The fault of the elderly mother was that she was trying to stop her son from using the mobile. He was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, where he died. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused son and presented him in the court, but the court considered the accused mentally ill and ordered him to be admitted to Mentor Hospital.

The matter is of Kinichira village in Kannur district. According to the police, the victim woman Rukmini Devi (63) was badly injured in the beating of her son and was admitted to the hospital. Where he died after a week. On the complaint of family members, the police have arrested the woman's son Sujit. According to the medical report, Sujit had mobile addiction. In such a situation, his mother asked him to reduce the use of mobile to bring him out of this addiction.

Sujeet became angry at this and grabbed his mother's head and threw it on the wall. Due to this the elderly woman got badly injured. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but by then he had lost a lot of blood. In such circumstances, despite a lot of efforts by the doctors, he died after a week. On receiving the information, the police arrived and interrogated the accused. The accused confessed to the crime and said that he did not know what he was doing.

After the confession of the accused, the police presented him in the court. The court also saw the medical report of the accused and his actions. After this, instead of sending the accused to jail, instructions have been given to admit him in Mentor Hospital. According to the police, the accused had mobile addiction for a long time. He had been admitted to an addiction center once before also. From where he was released after improvement. But after coming out, he again became a victim of the same addiction.
