G20: What is there in the New Delhi declaration? understand easy words

The Leaders' Manifesto has been approved on the first day of the ongoing G20 Summit in Delhi. A total of 112 issues including terrorism, inflation, Ukraine war are included in this manifesto. The manifesto has also been unanimously approved by the G20 member countries, which is a big success for India.

The G20 Summit has started in India from today. On Saturday, the first day of this two-day long summit, India got a big success when the New Delhi Leaders Declaration was approved by the G20 member countries. In this manifesto, everything from terrorism to the threat of nuclear attack, along with the appeal to fight inflation, it has been said to take the developing countries forward.

Terrorism in any form has not been described as acceptable in the manifesto. Along with this, it has been said that appropriate action will be taken against those who provide shelter to terrorist groups. Along with this, all the countries have been appealed to work as per the UN Charter and it has been said that today's era is not the time for war. It has been said to accept the commitment of all religions for peace across the world.

Ukraine war has also been mentioned in the New Delhi Leaders' manifesto. Ukraine has been named five times in the entire manifesto. Whereas, the word terrorism has been used 9 times. Along with this, it has also been said that the integrity of any country should not be attacked and it should not be accepted.

Important points of New Delhi Leaders Manifesto in G20-

The declaration states that the use or threat of nuclear weapons is unacceptable. The country's stance and resolutions adopted in the UNSC and UNGA have been reiterated.

The manifesto says that we call on all countries to uphold the principles of international law and maintain territorial integrity and sovereignty.

In the manifesto, terrorism has been described as a serious threat to international peace and security. Along with this, there has been a need to combat it and condemn it in any form.

The G20 declaration focuses on strong sustainable inclusive growth. A green route has been envisaged in this. The message of the G20 presidency is one earth, one family and one future.

The manifesto commits to reducing the gender gap as well as promoting women's full and equal participation in the economy as decision makers.

The Ukraine war has also been mentioned in the manifesto and it has been said that this has increased inflation across the world. The negative impact of the Ukraine war on the entire world is also mentioned.

An appeal has been made for peaceful resolution of the disputed issues. It has been said that strict action will be taken against those who provide shelter to terrorist groups.

Apart from this, a commitment has been made to support the increasing resource requirements of FATF. An appeal has been made to find peaceful solutions to disputes through diplomacy and dialogue.

During the G20 Summit, three issues of food, fuel and fertilizer were included in the category of special concern. G20 member countries resolved to promote ease of doing business.

G20 countries have been told that we have an opportunity to build a better future. Such a situation should not arise that any country has to choose between fighting poverty and fighting for the planet.

Addressing the second session of the summit, PM Modi said that a consensus has been reached on the New Delhi G20 Leaders Summit Declaration. The PM said that it is my proposal that it be adopted as the manifesto of 20. Let us tell you that on the first day of the conference, G20 has also got a new permanent member in the form of African Union. PM Modi himself announced this.
