At that time, the actress had got her nose operated, due to which her face had changed. According to Anil Sharma, Priyanka was also thrown out of many projects at that time.

Anil Sharma said that at that time he was shown a picture of Priyanka, seeing which he could not recognize her. He said that Priyanka's face had changed a lot after the operation. He was dropped from many projects and was also asked to return the signing amount. At that time Priyanka came crying to Anil Sharma, seeing which he was surprised. At that time Anil Sharma had decided to stand with Priyanka.
Priyanka had to suffer a lot after the operation
Further talking about Priyanka, Anil says, “She had to suffer a lot after the operation. I had also signed a film with him. My wife herself went and gave him the cheque. After the release of Gadar, I went on a trip to America and Europe. When he returned after two months, he came to know that Priyanka had got her nose operated. There I came to know from the newspapers that Priyanka got this operation done to look like Julia Roberts. I was surprised to hear this, because she looked beautiful earlier also.”
Why did Priyanka undergo surgery?
In the interview, Anil Sharma also told why Priyanka got the surgery done. He said that when he returned back to India, he asked Priyanka the real reason behind getting the operation done, to which the actress told him that she had sinus problem and that is why she got the surgery done.
