Vastu Tips: Today in Vastu Shastra we will talk about the right time to cut trees. Those trees which have dried up, whose leaves have fallen, which do not bear fruits and flowers etc. or which are obstructing some place or are not useful for anyone, that is, people cut unwanted trees. But those people cut these trees at any time according to their convenience, which is unfair. There is a right time and a right method for cutting any kind of tree etc., which must be followed.
According to Vastu Shastra, it is good to cut trees in Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Anuradha, Hasta, Mool, Uttaraphalguni, Uttarashada, Uttarabhadrapada, Swati and Shravan Nakshatras according to Nakshatras. Apart from this, before cutting any tree, it should also be worshipped.
First of all, worship the tree with scent, flowers and naivedya. Then cover its stem with a clean cloth and wrap white colored thread on it. Then pray to the tree that the creatures living on this tree may be well, I salute them. You accept my gift and move your abode to some other place.
Also say - O best among trees. May you be well Accept this worship of mine for the sake of home and other works. In this way after worship etc. after irrigating the tree with water, honey and ghee with an ax, go around the tree from east to north direction and cut that tree properly. The tree should be cut in round shape and then its fall should be observed.
