New Fortuner: 100% Bioethanol

But to run a vehicle on 100 percent ethanol, several changes have to be made to the engine and fuel system.

Toyota Fortuner Changes
Toyota's existing 2TR FE 2.7L petrol engine has been customised. Timing, tuning, fuel intake system, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel tank, fuel head, spark plugs, and multiple features have been updated for 100 percent ethanol compatibility.
Corolla Cross and the hydrogen equipped Corolla Cross H2 Concept
In addition to the Toyota Fortuner Flexi Fuel, the company has also introduced the E-100 bioethanol compatible Corolla Cross and the hydrogen equipped Corolla Cross H2 Concept Toyota is pushing its hydrogen power into family hatchback territory.
