She was a victim of diabetes since childhood, but in December 1969 she developed pneumonia, which became a great threat to her life. Diabetes and pneumonia, both diseases worsened her condition, after which she was admitted to the hospital, but she went into a coma and remained in a coma from then till her death.

Mother kept her promise to her daughter till death

After her daughter fell into a coma, Kaye stayed with her as much as possible for the next 38 years.
