Kamran Akmal advised Pakistani all-rounder to be like Hardik, said - 'It's been 5 years, haven't confirmed the place'

Former Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal may have retired from international cricket, but he is still keeping a close eye on the game. Recently, Pakistan announced its squad for Afghanistan and Asia Cup, after which now Kamran Akmal has advised all-rounder Faheem Ashraf to be like Hardik Pandya while giving his opinion on the Pakistan squad.

Kamran Akmal has uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he is seen giving his opinion on the Pakistan team squad. Meanwhile, he gave great advice to Faheem Ashraf. He said, 'The biggest happiness is that Faheem Ashraf is present in the Pakistan team. He is an all-rounder, it has been almost 5 years since he played international cricket. He is playing Test and T20 cricket but is yet to cement his place.

The former Pakistan player further said, 'I believe that he is such an all-rounder who does complete batting, complete bowling and good fielding. He is a team man, but I regret that he has not been able to cement his place. When the Indian team is announced, it is not complete without Hardik. He is a performer, Faheem will also have to become like that. He has to show maturity. He will have to perform in such a way that the next time the Pakistan team is announced, Faheem Ashraf's name should be at the top of it. He will have to take responsibility.

Please tell that Kamran Akmal believes that Faheem's figures have not been very good and now he will have to improve them. Faheem has so far played 16 Tests (24 wickets and 673 runs), 31 ODIs (23 wickets and 218 runs) and 48 T20Is (36 wickets and 311 runs) for Pakistan. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how many chances he gets in the Pakistan team in the coming times.
