Kerala's Shihab reached Mecca after traveling 8600 KM, 370 days on foot, Pakistan did cheap act at Wagah border

Shihab, who traveled on foot from Kerala to Mecca, has reached his destination. It took 370 days for his successful completion. People welcomed him everywhere. Shihab reached here after crossing the border of many countries.

At this time people are leaving for Haj pilgrimage. About 175000 people from India are going to reach Mecca to participate in this religious journey. The journey has started on 21 May. A young Shihab Chotoor from Kerala decided to travel to Mecca on foot. This was a very difficult decision. Because the distance from India to Mecca was 8640 kms. But the distance also reduced in front of Shihab's strong power. In one year five days i.e. (about 370 days) he completed the journey and reached Mecca. He reached Saudi Arabia via Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait.

Shihab Chottur, a resident of Valanchery in Malappuram district of Kerala, left his home on 2 June 2022. After this he reached Mecca this month taking many stops in his journey. After reaching Saudi, Shihab reached Madina, the most important pilgrimage center of Islam. Here he spent 21 days. Shihab covered the distance of 440 kilometers between Mecca and Medina in nine days. Pakistan also created hindrance in religious pilgrimage. Shihab was kept in a school in the name of transit visa.

Pakistan stopped at the border

Shihab will perform Haj after his mother Zainaba reaches Saudi. Shihab of Kerala also runs his own YouTube channel. Every day he also went on telling the audience about his journey. After starting his Haj pilgrimage in June last year, Shihab passed through several states of the country before reaching the Wagah border. He wanted to enter Pakistan from Wagah border but Pakistani officials stopped him. Because Shihab did not have a visa. Shihab had to wait for a month at a school to get a transit visa. In February 2023, Shihab got a transit visa. After this he started the journey again and reached his destination after four months.
