Recently, the actress said that even though women in films are earning less money than men, but in the OTT and TV industry, female actors dominate and are paid more than male actors.
Raveena Tandon recently talked about this during the National Conclave of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat. During this, the actress said that the film industry needs to learn from the OTT and TV industry where they are creating women-centric content and paying more money to women. Today in the TV industry, women are paid more than men. Women have established their supremacy in the TV industry and they are doing well in OTT as well. Raveena said this during the Nari Shakti session at the event.
Talking about the reason behind this, Raveena said that there is more mail between producers and directors in the film industry. Whereas in TV and OTT, women are also producing content and directing. Because of this, female actors are getting lead roles, due to which their pay scale is also higher than that of male actors.
