Another big blow to Rishi Sunak! Deputy PM Dominic Raab resigned, know what was the reason

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's cabinet minister and deputy PM Dominic Raab was accused of serious intimidation, after which he resigned on Friday.

London. Britain 's Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Dominic Raab has resigned from his post on Friday. He has given this resignation after the investigation started in the matter of intimidation. He has announced his resignation on Twitter . In his post, Raab has written that he himself had demanded this inquiry and had also asked to resign, if any truth is found in it.

Raab further wrote in his post that he feels it necessary that he should follow through on his words. After Indian-origin Rishi Sunak became Britain's prime minister in October last year, Raab is the third major leader to be ousted from the cabinet over personal conduct. Rishi Sunak had promised to give an honest government before coming to the government.

In November last year, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak appointed a senior lawyer, Adam Tolley, to investigate two separate bullying complaints filed against Raab. More complaints have come to the fore from civil servants working with the minister. At the same time, the Financial Times newspaper, while quoting a person associated with the investigation, wrote that it was all very 'disastrous'.

A spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office confirmed that the team submitted its report to Sunak on Thursday morning. During the discussion with the journalists, Rishi said that he has full faith in Raab. However, he said that he is considering the conclusions of the reports carefully. However, on the date of the report, he has flatly denied it.

If the team, in its investigation, proves the allegations leveled against Raab to be correct, it could lead to widespread dismissal for Raab. It is being speculated that Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party are going to suffer losses in the elections to be held on May 4 after this matter came to the fore.
