Bengaluru: Intensifying its crackdown on freebies in the last three days, the Election Commission of India has seized cash and goods worth Rs 5.4 crore in several districts including Bengaluru . Following the instructions of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) last week, officials of the revenue, police, commercial tax, excise and transport departments swung into action.
