WPL Auction: Bengaluru made a big bid on Indian bowler Renuka Singh, made part of the team for 1.5 crores

WPL 2023 Auction Live: Indian fast bowler Renuka Singh has been included in their team by Royal Challengers Bangalore by giving a hefty amount of 1.5 crores. The right-arm fast bowler plays ODIs and T20 Internationals for India. 27-year-old Renuka has now performed brilliantly for Team India. Renuka has played a total of 28 T20 International matches so far.

Controversy in Delhi-Bengaluru

Renuka's base price was Rs.50 lakhs. There was a tussle between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore to buy them. Both the franchises wanted to make Renuka a part of their team, but in the end Bengaluru made a big bid and included her in their team. Renuka is still young. He made his international debut in 2021. Renuka is a part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup being played these days. In the first match played against Pakistan in the tournament, he spent 24 runs with an economy of 8 in 3 overs while bowling. At the same time, he did not get any success.

International career like this

Renuka made her debut for Team India in October 2021 against Australia. Since then, she has played a total of 7 ODIs and 28 T20 International matches for Team India. Renuka has more experience in T20 International.

He has taken 18 wickets at an average of 14.88 while bowling in 7 ODI innings. In this, his economy has been 4.62. While batting in 27 T20 International innings, he has taken 24 wickets at an average of 26.62. During this, he has spent runs with an economy of 6.45. Significantly, Renuka Singh, who has more experience in T20 International, will prove beneficial for Royal Challengers.
