5G 100 Labs: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced to build 100 laboratories in the budget to promote 5G service. Presenting the Union Budget 2023 in the Parliament, the Finance Minister announced the formation of 100 labs. Telecom world has got a lot of relief from this decision. Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated 5G service in India only last year. At present, Reliance Jio and Airtel are providing 5G network facility in the country.
Telecom sector is the main industry of the country. After the introduction of 5G network, people in India have started getting the facility of running internet at high speed. Although, there is 5G internet coverage only in select cities, but telecom companies are rapidly rolling out 5G in different cities.
IT minister suggested the plan
During the launch of 5G, Union Cabinet Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had requested to set up 100 labs for 5G in the telecom industry. He had proposed to convert 12 of these 100 labs into incubators. Through these, students interested in the telecom sector can be trained and experiments can be promoted.

It is clear that 5G lab will be used to promote high-speed internet. Apart from this, there are many things where these labs will play a very important role. These labs will provide automated testing facility to the private sector. The people associated with the academy and the government together will be able to turn the concept related to the future into reality. The use of 5G can be further improved in different sectors like manufacturing and healthcare.
